What brand of spray tan do you use and how long does it last?
We use the VersaSpa range. Depending on your skin type, the tan will last 5-10 days if maintained correctly. Like a suntan the tan will gradually fade away as the skin naturally exfoliates.

How much are single session tans?
Single sessions are $40. 

Will my skin look orange?
No. The advanced technology currently used in the VersaSpa range is designed to ensure a natural, bronze tan. We have 4 different colours, all in light, medium and dark and we assist with colour selection to best match your skin tone and the look you wish to achieve.

How should I prepare for my spray tanning session?
Exfoliate and shave the day before spray tanning session. The day of your tanning session refrain from using moisturisers, perfumes, lotions, oils or deodorants that may create a barrier between the skin and the Sunless tanning solution. You may resume using these after your first shower or bath.

Does the spray tan take long to dry?
Our Versa Spa spray tanning booths have in built, heated blow dryers which is part of the session. You literally come out ready to get dressed and go!

How long does the tan take?

How long after spray tanning can I shower?
To give the DHA enough time to fully set, it is recommended to wait a minimum of 4 hours after a spray tanning session or 8 hours for optimal results. Showering sooner may diminish the intensity of the tan. However the longer the better! If you have chosen to spray tan later in the day, we recommend sleeping in it!

Does the VersaSpa smell after application?
VersaSpa sunless spray tanning solution use a breakthrough odour control technology designed to virtually eliminate the odour that may be present when the solution interacts with the skin.

Are there ways to enhance the spray tanning results?
Yes, all VersaSpa at-home products are specially formulated to extend spray tanning results. Over the counter products are not formulated for Sunless Tanning. They may block the tan’s application, impede the development process, and create uneven post-tan fading. When is the best time to spray tan?
If you have a special occasion to go to, such as a party, wedding etc, then it is advisable to be spray tanned two days before the event. For example, if the wedding is on the Saturday, then it is advisable to be spray tanned on the Thursday before as it is after this 2-day period that you reach peak glow!
